Open Position: Administrative Assistant--Selectmen/Town Admin Office

The Selectmen/Town Administrator’s Office is seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant. Position serves as the primary contact for public inquires and requests for information. Duties include, but are not limited to; monitoring and processing of department payroll, accounts payable & receivable; maintain roster of board/committee appointments; management of mail-in permit program and seasonal permit sales office; attend and take minutes for 2 to 4 evening meetings per month. Must possess strong computer, accounting, organizational and customer service skills. Ability to deal with the public politely and effectively both in person and over the phone. This is a 35 hour a week, Grade 2, Personnel Bylaw position, starting pay is $23.73 per hour.
