Over the next month a permanent Superintendent for the Nauset Public Schools will be selected. This process began in October and will culminate in the hiring of a new Superintendent at the end of January, 2022.
Applications are in and the Expanded Superintendent Search Committee has scheduled initial interviews during the first week in January to determine which candidates will ultimately be considered finalists. Selected Expanded Superintendent Search Committee members will conduct finalists’ site visits, after which finalists will visit the Nauset District between January 20th-25th to meet with staff and students and participate in open forums. Finalists’ interviews will take place on January 27th in Open Session at a Joint School Committee Meeting. Final decisions will be determined in Open Session on January 29th at another Joint School Committee Meeting. All meeting dates and times can be found on the Nauset Public Schools website calendar.
The announcement of the finalists and the public forum dates will be publicized through the Nauset website and local media as soon as that information is available.
