Town of Brewster and Peter Lombardi Agree on Contract

Mr. Peter Lombardi and the Brewster Select Board have reached an agreement on terms of a three-year contract. Mr. Lombardi will assume the duties of Brewster Town Administrator on April 22, 2019.

Brewster Select Board Chair Cindy Bingham negotiated on behalf of the Town, and the full Select Board voted to approve the contract in their February 11, 2019 meeting. Mr. Lombardi currently serves as Town Administrator in the Town of Wenham, Massachusetts. He has distinguished himself as a leader focused on citizen engagement and the delivery of high quality municipal services while employing a conservative fiscal approach.

In his previous positions, Mr. Lombardi improved budget processes and financial management with long-range budget forecasts and clear communication. He has identified teamwork, collaboration, responsiveness, and transparency as some of his core values.

Mr. Lombardi was the unanimous selection of the Select Board on January 28, 2019 following a nationwide search. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Vermont, and a Master of Public Administration from Suffolk University where he was recognized as the “Outstanding MPA Student.” Mr. Lombardi’s base salary will be $154,000.
