The Town of Brewster is seeking to fill three (3) vacancies for three year staggered terms to the Capital Planning Committee. The Capital Planning Committee is a five-member committee that consists of three citizens appointed by the Select Board, the Town Treasurer, and the Town Administrator. The Town Accountant / Finance Director and Town Administrator’s office will actively support the committee’s work.
The Capital Planning Committee’s primary responsibilities are to prepare a Five-Year Capital Plan that identifies all proposed capital outlays or acquisitions in excess of $10,000.00. The committee will submit a report on the Capital Plan to the Select Board by January 31 each year as part of the annual budget building and long-range forecasting processes.
