2021 Beach, Recycling Center, and Shellfishing Permits Now Available

Town of Brewster, Massachusetts– The Town of Brewster will begin issuing new 2021 resident Beach Parking, Recreational Shellfish, and Recycling Center permits as of April 12, 2021. Once again, there will be no in-person sale of permits at Town Hall this season. Residents can secure permits through the mail-in program or online. Similar to last summer, there will be no weekly non-resident beach parking permits and daily or seasonal non-resident beach parking permits will be available online only. Non-residents who wish to visit Brewster beaches will be able to log on to the website to purchase a daily or seasonal beach permit. This process will be entirely self-serve and paperless as enforcement will be conducted using license plate reader technology. Visitor Beach parking passes are not available for on-line purchase until June 1, 2021.

Parking permit enforcement will be in effect from June 15 through September 5, 2021, from 9am-4pm daily. Vehicles parked without a valid 2021 permit will be fined $40.00. This will be strictly enforced by the Brewster Police Department.

We are pleased to announce that our Beach Ambassador program will return again for the 2021 season. Beach Ambassadors will assist with educating residents and guests about guidelines regarding social distancing, mask wearing, and limitations on larger gatherings. Our goal is to deliver as safe and positive of an experience as we can to our beachgoers, recognizing that our beaches are a vital amenity for many.
