The Building Department is responsible for seeing that all building construction in town complies with the Mass. State Building Code and applicable laws, bylaws and regulations. The department additionally enforces zoning, Board of Appeals decisions, and Historic District Committee requirements.
Effective January 1, 2018, Brewster Building Department will require THREE (3) sets of plans for One or Two Family Residential Projects: (1) large set – maximum plan size of 36x24 and (2) 11x17 plan size containing the following;
