Open Position: Laborer

The Brewster DPW is seeking applicants for a Laborer. The position is responsible for maintaining municipal grounds and roadways. Duties include, but are not limited to; mowing, tree trimming, catch basin cleaning & cold patching, participates in snow & ice operations. Operates a variety of equipment, hand tools and machinery. High School diploma or equivalent & up to 1 year experience in grounds and roadway maintenance required, or any equivalent combination of education & experience.  This is a 40 hour a week Grade 2 SEIU union position with a pay range of $20.20 - $25.40 per hour. Position is subject to mandatory overtime.
