Open Position: Full Time Fire Prevention Officer

Brewster Fire is recruiting to fill the position of Fire Prevention Officer. Applicants must hold MA and/or National EMT or Paramedic certification. FF I/II Pro-Board certification is preferred. Candidates must pass the MA physical agility test, background check, and a medical exam upon offer of employment. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license, be 21 yrs. of age or older, and possess a HS Diploma or equivalent (GED). Associates Degree or higher is preferred. Starting annual salary is $60,471.00 for EMT; $61,514.00 for Paramedic. This is a Monday thru Thursday daytime position. Hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Employees must live within 15 air miles of Fire Headquarters (1671 Main St. Brewster, MA 02631) within 6 months of date of hire.
