Firearms License Fee Schedule for New and Renewal Applications;
*License to Carry Firearms-$100.00 (Renewals and New Applicants)
*Firearms Identification Card-$100.00
*Firearms Identification Card (Under 18 years of age)-$25.00
*No fee for renewal applicants 70 years of age or older
*Dealers License (including Gunsmith)- $100.00
Requirements
*All applicants must be a resident of Brewster and show a current Brewster address on their Massachusetts driver’s license.
*Applicants for a License to Carry Firearms must be twenty ones (21) years of age.
  Applicants for a Firearms Identification Card must be eighteen (18) years of age.
  Applicants between the ages of fifteen (15) and eighteen (18) years of age may apply for a FID with written consent of a parent or guardian.
*New applicants for a License to Carry Firearms or Firearms Identification Card must include a copy of a completed Firearms Safety Course or Hunters Safety Course certification issued by a state certified instructor.
Procedure
*Applicants should complete and return the application, together with the required Safety certification, to the Brewster Police Department. Subsequently to the submission, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for processing, fingerprints and picture.
*Fees as established above are to be paid by check or money order payable to the Town of Brewster with the application. NO Cash will be accepted
