Mission and Responsibilities

Guided by the Town’s Housing Production Plan and Local Comprehensive Plan, the Housing Office works to expand community housing options in Brewster.  The Office coordinates housing-related programs including resident assistance programs, provides education, assists in the preservation and creation of affordable and attainable housing, participates in planning processes, operates collaboratively, oversees Brewster’s Subsidized Housing Inventory, and advocates for resident’s housing needs. Part of the Community Planning and Land Use Department, the Housing Office also supports and coordinates with the Brewster Affordable Housing Trust and the Brewster Housing Partnership.

Hours

The Housing Coordinator and Program Assistant hold open office hours on Thursdays from 10:00AM to 12:00PM for community members who have requests for assistance, questions, comments, and ideas about community housing. The coordinator is also available at other times and by phone. Please email or call to set up an appointment.
