Community Engagement Team

Brewster Fire/Rescue is fortunate to have a group of dedicated employees who form the foundation of our Community Engagement Team. The mission of the team is to keep our community and followers informed of the latest department news, provide fire, emergency medical, and life safety education, manage public training events, host community events, and support the outreach and education efforts of other Town departments. Some of the annual events and programs sponsored and supported by the team include.

  • CPR/Stop the Bleed Training
  • Fire Department Website and Facebook Pages
  • Open House Events
  • Fire Prevention Week
  • School Based Fire Safety Education
  • Station Tours
  • Citizens Fire Academy
  • High School Internship Program
  • Police Department Youth Program
  • Conservation Day
  • Homeless for the Holidays
  • Memorial Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Beautify Brewster
  • Christmas Tree Lighting
  • Health Fairs/Flu Clinics
  • Senior Citizen Fire Safety Education

All of our members look forward to continuing to interact with the thousands of residents and visitors we see annually and spreading the benefits realized through robust and consistent fire and life safety educational activities.

If you are interested in hosting an educational event or program, visiting the fire station, or have other questions for our Community Engagement Team please feel free to reach out to Fire Prevention Officer Scott Romer at 508-896-7018.
