Recreation Commission Mission and Responsibilities
The Recreation Commission oversees the Town’s Recreation Department and its programs to promote health, fitness, play, recreation, and sport for people of all ages. The Commission establishes policy, programs, and the fee structure. The Recreation Commission meets the third Thursday of each month at Brewster Town Hall at 5:00pm.

Department
The Brewster Recreation Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all Brewster Residents, by striving to provide the best leisure opportunities in our community through exceptional programs and services. The purpose of the Recreation Department is to meet the diverse recreational, cultural, athletic and leisure-time pursuits of the residents of Brewster with a broad based comprehensive program. Recreational programs are organized to encourage participation and enjoyment and will be held at safe and well-equipped facilities on a year-round basis.

Please note that pool memberships for 2024 will be sold online through the Brewster Recreation website, beginning April 15. A Brewster Recreation account is required to purchase a membership, sign up for classes or swim lessons.
