Proposed Ordinance Nos. 8, 10, 14, 15, and 16
On April 17, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold hybrid
(in-person and virtual) public hearings on Proposed Ordinance No. 8, Fiscal Year 2025 County Operating Budget; Proposed Ordinance No. 10, Fiscal Year 2025 Dredge Enterprise Fund
Operating Budget; Proposed Ordinance No. 14, Repealing Ordinance 2018-10, which
established the Barnstable County Coastal Management Committee; Proposed Ordinance No.
15, Establishing the Barnstable County Dredge Advisory Committee; and Proposed Ordinance No. 16, To authorize funds and the authority to file loan application(s) for the purpose of making loans to residents of the County for repairing, replacing and/or upgrading residential septic systems, inclusive of sewer connections and innovative/alternative septic systems, in
participating towns pursuant to agreements between the County and residential property
owners, including all costs incidental and related thereto, and further, to add to the County's operating budget for Fiscal Year 2024, as enacted in Ordinance No. 2023-07, by making supplemental appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024. The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street
– Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to
anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full texts of the proposed ordinances have been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. They are also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for April 17, 2024 located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-
government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also be emailed to
owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearing.  The County will also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live on the County YouTube channel at
