Assessors’ Annual Inspections Beginning April 11

Starting April 11, 2024, the Board of Assessors will be conducting the annual inspections of all properties with building permits issued or completed in 2023. The inspections will be performed by appraisers employed by PK Valuation Group of Sandwich, MA on behalf of the Brewster Board of Assessors. The appraisers will be measuring and listing property to check for accuracy with the Town’s records and will also take pictures of the property.

The Board of Assessors will also be conducting annual inspections of commercial property and new business personal property. The business property inspections will also be performed by an appraiser employed by PK Valuation Group of Sandwich, MA on behalf of the Brewster Board of Assessors. The appraiser will be listing new property and reviewing existing property as required by the Department of Revenue.

The appraiser will have a picture ID and their information is on file with the Brewster Police Department. The appraiser’s vehicle is a black 2011 Toyota RAV4 with Massachusetts Plate # 5LNH30.
