Historical Commission

Mission and Responsibilities

The Brewster Historical Commission was established for the preservation and development of the historical and archeological assets of the town. The Commission is responsible for maintaining an inventory of buildings, areas, and sites of architectural and/or historical importance in Brewster.

Other History-Focused Groups

Brewster Old King's Highway Historic District Committee: Brewster's town committee that is part of the regional historic district.

Brewster Historical Society: Collects and preserves the artifacts and history of Brewster (a non-profit group - not a municipal entity).
