Mill Sites Committee

Mission and Responsibilities

The Mill Sites committee oversees the maintenance and preservation of the Stony Brook Gristmill and Museum, as well as the surrounding environs, including footpaths and bridges on the site of historic Factory Village. The Committee also manages the activities at the Gristmill, including volunteer recruitment/coordination, summer mill and museum schedule, special events, and corn meal sales. Committee members are appointed by the Select Board. The Committee meets annually and on an “as needed” basis.
