Brewster Police Department Launches New Website

Fire Department Set to Launch Later in August
Police Website

The Brewster Police Department has launched a new and improved website. The user-friendly site contains news, information, events, and helpful resources for Brewster residents.

The site, www.brewster-ma.gov/police, includes a wealth of information about the department and its history as well as department operations. Residents can access recent arrest logs right from the main page, as well as being able to register with the Community Opt-In Portal to receive emergency notifications and important updates. Another notable improvement is the ability to fill out online forms directly on the site, such as the motor vehicle accident form and business listing form.

“This is an exciting moment,” said Police Chief Eldredge. “In addition to our presence on social media, it is our hope that the website will serve as a place for members of the community to find information relevant to police operations in Brewster.”

“One of our main priorities this year has been making all of Brewster’s resources easily accessible to the public,” said Town Manager Peter Lombardi. “The launch of the new Police website, along with the Town website earlier this year, is crucial to this effort.”

The new Police site uses CivicPlus, a platform widely used by municipalities across the nation. The new Fire Department website is also expected to launch later this month on the same platform.
