Hurricane Lee Updates & Preparedness Information for Residents

The Town of Brewster will be impacted by Hurricane Lee tonight and tomorrow. The effects could include strong winds (with potential for power outages), heavy rain, and coastal flooding.  Please click here for the latest update issued by the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee. We advise Brewster residents to begin preparing for the forecasted weather conditions now by securing any outdoor items that could be impacted.  Anyone with watercraft to include kayaks, standup paddle boards, canoes, etc., near the shoreline, should assure that they are properly secured to prevent unnecessary response by emergency crews for unmanned adrift craft.
