Long Pond Landing Improvements Nearing Completion

Landing Closed May 6 - May 10 to Complete Work
Long Pond

Improvements to Long Pond Landing are nearing completion. This work has involved reconstruction of the boat ramp and installation of a new dock, the creation of a second entrance to the parking area to separate beach and boat traffic, the addition of better stormwater treatment, and the improvement of on-site boat trailer parking.

The Select Board recently voted to close access to Long Pond Town Landing from May 6 through May 10 in order to allow the contractor to complete final site work and landscaping. The improved landing and boat ramp will reopen on Saturday May 11.

Chris Miller, Natural Resources Director and Griffin Ryder, Public Works Director have overseen the project, along with the engineering firm, Horsley Witten. More information can be found on the Long Pond Town Landing project webpage.
