Long Pond Property Guided Walk

Join members of the Pond Property Planning Committee, Mass Audubon, Brewster Conversation Trust, and Brewster Recreation staff for a two-hour guided walk through the scenic former Cape Cod Sea Camps Property on Long Pond and observe firsthand the natural beauty of the property. The 1½ mile trail route traverses unimproved trails and varied terrain.  Guides will lead participants along the trails through forested uplands, around wetlands, abandoned cranberry bogs and vernal pools to the vegetated pond shoreline and the pond beach area, while observing wildlife and plant communities along the way.
 
The group will meet a guide at the Eddy Elementary School parking lot and be transported to and from the Long Pond Woodlands parking area in the COA van. Space is limited to 11 participants. Please arrive at 8:45 am. The COA van will leave as soon as everyone is present, but no later than 9:00 am.
