Select Board Seeks Resident Input In Advance of Annual Retreat

The Brewster Select Board will meet for their annual retreat next month where they will develop an updated Strategic Plan that reflects our current collective community goals for the next two years.  Their plan serves as a guide to prioritizing initiatives and policies across the organization.

For the past four years, the Select Board has organized this goal setting process around the building blocks identified in the Town’s 2018 Vision Plan, including Community Character, Water Resources, Open Space, Housing, Coastal Management, Local Economy, Governance, and Community Infrastructure.  Last year, the Select Board added new two building blocks, Solid Waste Management, and Climate Mitigation & Adaptation, to align with the draft Local Comprehensive Plan.

In advance of this summer’s retreat, the Town is seeking community input regarding the values and principles within these building blocks you think are most important for the Select Board to consider in the next two years.  Residents are encouraged to send comments to the Town Manager’s Office at townmanager@brewster-ma.gov by July 14.  Thank you in advance for your feedback.
