Tours of the Former Cape Cod Sea Camps Pond Property on April 6 and April 10

Pond Property

Residents are invited to tour the former Cape Cod Sea Camp Pond property on Saturday April 6 from 10am to 2pm and Wednesday April 10 from 10am to 2pm. Pre-registration is required. Please click here to register for Saturday April 6 or here to register for Wednesday April 10. These self-guided tours are open to Brewster residents, and they will be held rain or shine.

Due to very limited parking at the Pond Property, residents are asked to park at the Captains Golf Course at 1000 Freemans Way and they will be transported to the Pond Property via Council on Aging vans, leaving every 15 minutes. Volunteers and Town staff will be on hand to provide maps and the proposed comprehensive plan for the Pond Property, and to answer questions. This is a walking tour - residents are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and to dress for the season. Select driving tours will be offered for those with ambulatory issues - please contact Donna Kalinick, Assistant Town Manager, dkalinick@brewster-ma.gov for accommodations.

The Town, in partnership with the Pond Property Committee and the Bay Property Committee, are sponsoring a number of events for residents to become more familiar with both Sea Camps Properties leading up to Annual Town Meeting on May 11 where the proposed plans for both properties will be voted on. Open houses for the Bay Property will be held on Wednesday April 17 from 10am to 2pm and Saturday April 27 from 1pm to 5pm – since parking is not limited on the Bay Property, no registration is required. A pre-Town meeting information session on the proposed Sea Camps comprehensive plans will be held on Tuesday April 30 at 6pm at Town Hall. Please visit the Sea Camps project page for information related to our year-long community planning process.
