For the week of January 8, the Town has the following new career opportunities:

Full Time

Assistant Director of Public Works – The Town is currently seeking a qualified and collaborative professional to serve as the Town’s first Assistant Director of Public Works. This new position is responsible for performing administrative, supervisory, and technical work assisting the DPW Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the DPW and Recycling Center.

Building Commissioner – The Town is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Building Commissioner. This position is responsible for performing complex administrative, supervisory, inspectional, and technical work related to enforcement and interpretation work in managing our high-volume Building Department.

Youth Services Librarian – The Town is seeking a qualified professional to serve as Youth Services Librarian for the Brewster Ladies Library.  This is a Department Head position that performs administrative, direct service, and professional library work in planning, directing, and conducting activities for library services for children, young adults, and their families.

Part Time

Department Assistant – The Town is currently seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Department Assistant for the Recreation Department. This position performs data entry, administrative, and public service work in assisting with the operations of the office and serves as the first point of contact for the public.
