Department of Natural Resources Welcomes New AmeriCorps Volunteer

The Town of Brewster Department of Natural Resources has a long history of partnering with AmeriCorps and is excited to welcome Savannah Gray, a new AmeriCorps member, for the 2023-2024 program year. The Department was awarded an individual placement to serve two days a week in Brewster until July 2024. In addition, the Department will be hosting larger groups of AmeriCorps volunteers on Mondays and Fridays throughout the year to assist with larger group projects. 

Our new volunteer, Savannah, is originally from Bel Air, Maryland, and graduated with a degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina in 2022. She recently served with the Student Conservation Association, working with teens to complete conservation projects throughout Maryland State Parks. Savannah is excited to begin work in Brewster. “I am thrilled to be able to live and serve so close to the ocean this year with AmeriCorps Cape Cod,” she said.
