Vision Planning Committee Votes to Recommend Adoption of New Local Comprehensive Plan Draft

The Brewster Vision Planning Committee completed and voted to recommend adoption of a revised draft Local Comprehensive Plan (LCP) at its meeting on 9/5/23, which can be accessed on the Local Comprehensive Plan project page. This draft has been submitted to the Planning Board and Select Board for a joint public hearing to be held on 9/27/23. 

Reflecting comments, concerns and changes in circumstances since Fall 2022, and with continuing efforts to make the document even more clear and readable for all stakeholders, the VPC has been working on this latest draft since March. The community will consider adoption of the Plan at Fall Town Meeting on November 13.
