Budget & Capital Information
The Town of Brewster has partnered with OpenGov to publish budget and capital information in a user-friendly, online format. The OpenGov platform provides users with a dynamic, visual representation of Town finances to better understand where dollars are being spent. Residents can view budget details, reports, and charts by department. Each page includes current year accomplishments, goals for next year, and proposed budget changes. This new platform is intended to enhance transparency and public engagement. We hope and expect that it will increase access to the budget development process for our residents.
FY25 Operating Budget:

Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) FY24-FY28:

Distinguished Budget Presentation Award:
In October 2023, the Town received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its FY24 budget. In meeting nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation, this honor represents a significant achievement by the Town’s budget team. The award reflects the commitment of Town leadership to creating budgetary documents that reflect the highest standards in financial policy, planning, transparency, and communication.
