Long Pond Town Landing Project Update

Speakman Excavation is currently working on the construction of the new boat ramp, the creation of a new dedicated entrance drive to the parking area, and the improvement of the boat trailer parking at the Long Pond Town Landing. Chris Miller, Natural Resources Director and Griffin Ryder, Public Works Director are continuing to oversee the project, along with the engineering firm, Horsley Witten.

Paving and landscaping work is currently taking place, in addition to drainage improvements.

A reminder that the landing will continue to remain closed through December 1, 2023 . Additional limited closures may occur in Spring 2024 in order to finish the project, which is expected to be fully completed by Summer 2024.
