LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING

 

A public hearing and meeting of the Old King’s Highway Regional Historic District 

Commission will be held, in accordance with Chapter 470 of the Acts of 1973 (as

amended), at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the West Barnstable Fire Station Meeting Room, 2160 Meetinghouse Way (Route #149), West Barnstable, Massachusetts.

 

The following matters will be heard and/or acted upon:

 

1.) Appeal No. 2024-2 filed by Jesse Hagopian seeking reversal of the Yarmouth Town Committee's decision denying a Certificate of Demolition or Removal in application No. 24-A016 for the complete demolition or removal of the rear chimney of the dwelling located at 405 Route 6A, Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. The property is identified as being shown on Town Map 123 Lot 135. The Town Committee's decision was filed with the Yarmouth Town Clerk on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. The Appeal Petition was filed with the Regional Commission on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, and a copy is available for public viewing at the Yarmouth Town Clerk’s Office, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, Massachusetts during regular business hours.

 

2.) The Commission’s FY-2025 Budget.

 

3.) Open Meeting Law Complaint from Ellin Asack dated March 11, 2024, against the Old King’s Highway Regional Historic District Commission – acknowledge receipt of and discuss response to complaint. Make and adopt such modifications to the public record for Appeal No. 2023-8 as the Regional Commissioners determine to be appropriate.
