Friends of Brewster Dog Park to Host Educational Workshop on Thursday June 29

Residents are invited to attend the inaugural Friends of Brewster Dog Park (FBDP) Educational Workshop on Thursday June 29 from 4-5PM. This event is FREE and all well-socialized dogs are welcome. Handlers must bring dogs on leash. No retractable leashes.

FBDP Board Member and Certified Professional Trainer Rick Alto will present an interactive seminar in the small dog park area.

Attendees will learn:

 - How to safely navigate a day at the park

 - A basic understanding of Canine Body Language (what appropriate play looks like)

The event will also include a question & answer session and off-leash dog socialization in a controlled, supervised environment.

Please note that the park will be closed to the public until 4PM on the 29th for regularly scheduled facility maintenance.
