Mission and Responsibilities

The mission of the Brewster Waste Reduction and Recycling Commission is to evaluate and develop environmentally sound and economically feasible programs that promote waste reduction, reuse and recycling designed to protect the environment and reduce the Town’s solid waste costs. The Commission accomplishes this by engaging in educational public awareness campaigns as well as reassessing existing Brewster Recycling Center programs and protocols.
