Affordable Brewster Home for Sale - 212 Yankee Drive

212 Yankee Drive is a lovely 3 bedroom affordable home centrally located in Brewster near the bike path and adjacent to Stony Brook Elementary School and the Brewster Whitecaps field. Currently owned by the Town, the home had previously been unoccupied and damaged by a water leak. Using Community Preservation Act funds granted by Brewster residents, the Town’s Housing Trust has worked to preserve and refurbish the home. The septic system has been improved, a new boiler installed, and the walls, floors, kitchen and bathrooms are completely new. The renovations will be completed in January.

The home has an affordable deed restriction and is being sold for $237,900 through an affordable lottery.  Applications, due February 2nd,  are available at Town Hall, the Brewster Ladies Library and Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC).  Eligible applicants can obtain a loan for the purchase price of the property and qualify as first time homebuyers with a household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income.
