Accessible Beach Information

Beach Wheelchairs: 

• Brewster has four beach wheelchairs, Mobi-Chairs, that float in the water.
• The beach wheelchairs are located at Long Pond, Breakwater Beach, First Light Beach and Paine’s Creek for the public's use, free of charge.
• For Mobi-Chair use at Long Pond, please see the lifeguard on duty.
• For Mobi-Chair use at Breakwater Beach, First Light Beach or Paines Creek, please call (508) 896-4546 (Weekdays) and (508) 240-4946 (Weekends).
• Mobi-Chairs can be used daily from 9am to 4pm.
• The maximum safe weight for a Mobi-Chair is 250 pounds.
• A waiver form is required for use.
