Assessors’ Annual Inspection Update May 2026

Commercial, Industrial, Mixed-Use, and Tax-Exempt Properties

Starting May 6, 2026, the Board of Assessors will begin conducting the annual inspections of all commercial, industrial, and tax exempt properties with building permits issued or completed in Calendar Year 2025. 

The Board of Assessors will also be conducting their Cyclical Re-inspection Program for Commercial, Industrial, Mixed-Use and Tax Exempt properties as required by the Department of Revenue.  The Cyclical Re-inspection program requires us to visit every property in town at least once every ten years.

The inspections will be performed by appraisers employed by PK Valuation Group of Sandwich, MA on behalf of the Brewster Board of Assessors.  The appraisers will be measuring and listing property to check for accuracy with the Town’s records and will also take pictures of the property.

The appraiser will have a picture ID and their information is on file with the Brewster Police Department. The appraiser’s vehicle is a Green 2023 Subaru Forrester with Massachusetts Plate # 4YBL34
